Delete your User Account

Users can permanently delete their Match Up India account directly from within the mobile app.

How to delete your account

  1. ​​Open the Match Up India mobile app

  2. Go to Profile Centre

  3. Open Settings

  4. Tap Deactivate / Delete Account

  5. Select Delete Account

  6. Choose a reason and confirm deletion

What happens after deletion

  • Your account is permanently deleted

  • You will no longer be able to access the app using the same account

Data deleted

  • User profile information

  • Photos and uploaded media

  • Chat history

  • Match history

  • Account identifiers

Data retained

  • Transaction records (if any) may be retained for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance as required by law

Retention period

  • Account data is deleted immediately after confirmation

  • Transaction records may be retained for up to the legally required period
