A legal disclaimer

“App” or “Platform” refers to the Match Up India mobile application, website, and any related services provided by the Company.
“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Reformative Ventures (OPC) Private Limited.
“User”, “you”, or “your” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the App or registers for an account.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as set out in Section 2 below.
“Sensitive Verification Data” refers to government-issued identity documents or other proofs submitted for account verification (excluding Aadhaar), face verification video, and any other identity-related information.

By registering, accessing or using the App or any of its features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must stop using the App immediately and may request deletion of your account.

Data Provided by You

Full name, gender, date of birth, and demographic data.
Mobile phone number, authentication credentials, and account login data.
Profile photos, videos, biography, interests, preferences, and other profile metadata.
User-generated content, including chat messages, in-app interactions (likes, matches), profile media, and any submissions or uploads.

Verification Data

Photographic ID (excluding Aadhaar).
Face verification video/images, for the sole purpose of identity verification.
No Aadhaar data is collected or requested by the Company. If any Aadhaar card or Aadhaar-related data is uploaded or submitted voluntarily by the User, such submission shall be deemed to have been made with the User’s explicit consent. Notwithstanding this, all Aadhaar data voluntarily submitted shall be permanently deleted within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of upload.

Automatically Collected Data

Device information (device type, device make, model, operating system version, IP address).
Approximate and/or precise geolocation data (only with user consent).
App usage data: logs, session data, analytics, crash reports, performance diagnostics.

We may process your Personal Data for the following lawful purposes:
To create and maintain your account, provide matchmaking, messaging services and notifications.
To enable communication between Users through the App.
To verify identity, prevent fraud, and enhance platform safety and security.
To analyze usage and performance, improve the App and user experience.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests or inquiries.
To comply with legal or regulatory obligations under applicable laws.

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties. We may share your data in the following circumstances:
With other Users as necessary for core functionality (e.g., matches, messaging).
With third-party service providers (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services) bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
With law enforcement, court orders, or governmental authorities when required by law or valid legal process.
In connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or reorganization, provided that the receiving entity assumes the same privacy obligations.

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption, access control, secure servers) to protect your Personal Data. However, no system is immune to unauthorized access, and you acknowledge the inherent risks in using online services.

Your Personal Data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Upon account deletion (at your request), we will remove publicly visible data; certain information may be retained temporarily for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance obligations.

You have the right to:

Access and obtain a copy of your Personal Data.
Request correction or update of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to applicable legal/regulatory retention obligations.
Withdraw consent to processing of geolocation or other optional data (subject to possible limitations on functionality).

The App is strictly for individuals aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Data from minors.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will publish the revised version on the App or website, with the “Last Revised” date updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
